M-TEK (Assembly) Ltd is a Contract Electronics Manufacturing Company (CEMS) based in the South East of England in Berkshire, Reading. For over 23 years, M-TEK has provided its customers with quality electronics services by constantly assessing customer needs and requirements.

M-TEK recognises that success can be traced back to having in place accountable, traceable and efficient upstream and downstream open communications throughout its internal and external layers.

M-TEK’s core competencies far exceed just manufacturing assembly and typically provide total product management solutions. These encompass design, engineering support, global procurement and supply chain management, small to volume assembly as well as testing, warehousing and distribution.

In short, M-TEK is able to take on board the management of customers’ products in their entirety from the initial design for manufacture through to full turnkey service and dispatch. Despite economic uncertainties, M-TEK has continued to keep to its capital expenditure plan for 2017, enhancing its dynamic manufacturing structure, focusing on its customers, and investing steadily in the right skill sets, machinery and systems.

A strategic plan was set out at the start of 2017 to improve the company’s manufacturing efficiencies, reduce our lead-time to manufacture and increase its engineering and global procurement capabilities. This has enabled M-TEK to adapt on an ever changing landscape, counterbalance the post Brexit uncertainty amidst the drop in GBP and capitalise on its productivity and efficiency to increase its intake of complex NPI’s. This has also allowed M-TEK to entertain continued growth of full turnkey range of mid to high volume products from a manufacturing, assembly and testing perspective. Volume IoT catalogue products have been successfully re-shored. M-TEK has recently added an ISO 14644-1:2015 Class 5 Cleanroom environment to its manufacturing site, 3D CT Scans capabilities and Fibre Optics as well as Coaxial Cables assembly services. Needless say, due to the nature of its work and industries supplied, M-TEK has a stringent ESD policy and is compliant with ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004, IPC-A-610 (all classes), WHMA-620 and IPC-7711/7721.

M-TEK is pleased to announce we will be exhibiting at the 2017 Electronic Design Show to be held in the Jaguar Exhibition Hall, Ricoh Arena, Coventry, CV6 6GE. The exhibition is a 2 days event from the 18th to the 19th of October 2017, and you will find us on corner Stand D15 in the Engineering Design Section. Visit our stand and meet our team who will be pleased to address any design, layout, prototyping, small, medium to volume product assembly requirements you may have.
